Business Card

Danielle Oporto©  2013

The focus point of my card or what cathches the readers eye I feel is the logo in the background.  the Card that i did is for a singing company.  My card seems to be more casual then serious.  i like the look of my card and the logo in the background.

Alphabet Art

Danielle Oporto©                                                              "FOREVER"
I choose the word forever because sadly nothing is forever unless it is set in stone, for example most times a marriage is forever or “till death do you part” and other than that the only things that are forever are things that you make last forever.

Dyptich

Danielle Oporto ©2013                                  "Being bullied"
I choose this as a bullying poster.  No matter who is being bullied or who is bullying you, that doesn't make it right.

Danielle Oporto ©2013                                    "Water Fight"
Water is the universal solvent, and it will disolve you too.

Danielle Oporto ©2013

I used sharpies in my series because I use sharpies all the time.  I used the primary colors to boost the look of the photos so that they weren’t all the same old black sharpies.  I tried to take all the pictures at different angles with different lighting and different things such as people.  I also want to thank Brittney Solis for helping me decide on how I could interact with people and the sharpies.

Surrealism

Danielle Oporto © 2013

Life is a nightmare.  Created into art is completely a myth. It’s dark and intense, elaborate and creative.  I used my nightmares and combined them all to make my Robo Nightmare ©.

Surrealism Post 1

Dreams:

I want to create my nightmares.  The scary darkness with in my mind escaping ready to scare others, with the dark illusion of good.  Evil clowns insides and darkened rooms full of unwanted life.  I want to take an evil clowns face and replace it with my dark scary room also computerize the rest of his face.

Surrealistic Artist Inspiration

I love all of Rodion’s work.  He is an interesting artist.  Hey works with paints and makes them look like a realistic black and white cartoon from the 90s it’s absolutely amazing.

Rodion Kachanoff -

Date of work:  N/A

Description: I like how sharp the lines are and how the texture of the picture is very clean but also messy.  I like that the artist incorporated detail into the picture as if the clouds were wispy.
Analyze:  the texture of the photo is rough but smoothed.  The picture seemed to blend together, the sky and the ocean.
Interpretation: my interpretation of this picture is that you can be a message in a bottle if you’re stuck somewhere you can put your whole life in there.
Judgment: I really like this picture the way that it is black and white and the way that the waves match the lighting of the sky.  It is a very interesting photo.

Jacek is also a creative artist but uses bright colors and amazing detail. You can look at any of his picture and they look like they were made in the 70s because of all the different colorings.

Jacek Yerka –

Date of work:  N/A

Description: I like how the lines aren’t as sharp they are a little softer and how there is a sand stair case into the ocean.  Also how the shell is her house.
Analyze:   the texture is like a texture of a shell and sand and skin and everything just looks amazing.  Interpretation:  my interpretation of this picture is confined freedom.  When you are free but you are confined
Judgment:  I love this picture because of all the texture and thedetail that it has such as the stairs inside of the counch and the foot steps in the sand.

Artist Inspirations

Anna and Bernard Blume ©

I choose this photo because I thought it was very interesting in a way I want to know what the other half of the picture was supposed to look like. It’s very blurred and fuzzy but if you look in to the center of the picture you can see the picture look like it is moving.

Gustavo Aguerre ©

I liked this picture by him because it is very relevant to our time.   If you think about it we are missing those puzzle pieces in New York City right now they complete the United States.

Julia Margaret Cameron ©

I like the way this picture is colored and the way the little girl’s eyes reflect the scenery around her.  I also liked the fact that the little girl isn’t staring into the camera.

                                                                     Robert Adams ©

I choose this from Robert because I thought it was a very interesting photo from his selection. I also like how the picture looks like it was taken in the Midwest of America.

Rolf Aamot ©

I like this pictures because I like the way he blurs out all his photos and makes them unique in his own way.  I also love the colors that were used.

Hockney

Danielle Oporto © 2013

I love the way the seniors get a senior of the monthso to capture the moment and the months that we are here I thought why not make our senior class better by taking a Hockney picture of it.

Portrait Series

Danielle Oporto ©

I took these pictures not knowing how they would all come out.  I actually took about 100 photos and choose these because they all seemed to blend really well.  My brother is exactly the way you see him here he is funny and outgoing, plus a bundle of joy.  I took a blanket and laid it on the floor, told him to lay down flat and make faces.  The lighting in the room was bright but I like how my camera took them kind of dark.  It was interesting to see how all of them came out.

Photography Composition

Leading Line

Danielle Oporto© 2013

LEADING LINE:  taking a line that is leading up to the object you want to be looking at.

I feel this is leading line because the line leads to the mouse and makes you want to look at the mouse without looking at anything else. I choose this because it makes more sense to take a picture like this then to take a line that it obvious to a naked eye then to take one that is abstract to the naked eye.  My picture is in between abstract and ordinary.

 Silhouette
Danielle Oporto© 2013

SILHOUETTE: a backlighting to a person making them darker in the picture
I took this not realizing I was taking a silhouette. I was actually trying to take a low key picture.  I took a few of these but this one popped out the most to me.

Angle-up
Danielle Oporto© 2013

UP: a photo in the upward angle
I took this because I liked the way the stairs looked and the reflection on the rail. I also took this because it is a cool way of showing the angle up.

Distance-close
Danielle Oporto© 2013
CLOSE:  when a picture is closer than a normal photo
I choose this a my close picture because of the focus on the word “keurig” it is very clearly written.  If you were to take this picture farther away you wouldn’t get the same effect.  Sadly when I took the picture from far away I actually hated the darkness on the photo.
Sharp focus
Danielle Oporto© 2013

SHARP: A much focused photo no blurs on the point you are focusing on
I choose this as my sharp image because it’s very focused on the USB port. The port is an interesting part because it is see through so you can see the parts.
